Corporate Accounting Senior Analyst/Analyst
ABOUT THIS JOB
The Corporate Accounting Senior Analyst/Analyst works closely with various Accounting groups, Financial Planning & Analysis and other business partners across the organization to perform the monthly financial close process and to facilitate appropriate accounting procedures and processes. This position is responsible for preparing analyses for: monthly reporting to senior management; quarterly reviews and annual audits by the internal and external auditors; and, in financial forecasts, the annual budget and long-range financial plans. In addition, this position serves as a subject matter expert providing the primary customer-facing support and maintenance of the company’s general ledger system (PeopleSoft) and related tools. This includes leading all complex functional system and project support related to PeopleSoft GL, nVision Reporting and Combo maintenance. This position also is responsible for the implementation of improved business processes and special projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL DO - ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This position will be responsible for ensuring the company’s financial information within the general ledger is complete and accurate as it relates the company’s financial close process. In addition, this individual is a subject matter expert around the company’s chart of accounts and financial reports, regularly interpreting and solutioning complex business partners requests based on their technical understanding of PeopleSoft.
