A local automotive dealer is seeking a full time, experienced, Accounting Clerk to join their busy and growing team. Responsibilities include:
Although the primary role of this position is that of Accounting Clerk, all members of our accounting department work as a team and are cross-trained to assist with the overall accounting process. Therefore, this candidate will need to be adaptable and eager to assist with accounts payable, costing deals, title work, payroll and other clerical items as needed.
Must have solid understanding of accounting detail and how it relates to the overall general ledger and financial statement reporting. Associate degree in accounting or previous accounting / bookkeeping experience required. Experience in automotive industry a plus.
Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Excel. Experience with cloud services and DMS systems a plus.
