Job Description

Veolia in Cary, NC is opening a contract management position.  This positon will support project managers in all contract modifications such as change orders, back charges, scope changes, etc. and would be managing all the associated documentation, discussions, and negotiations with external clients and suppliers.

As this is a new position for the Cary office, it is expected that this will not be a full time position immediately and will expand over time.  To help the successful candidate learn about the organization and the types of projects involved, the time not spent on contract management would be spent on managing projects until the contract management duties become full time.

The project management responsibilities include leading the organization’s efforts on projects from handoff from sales, through project execution, commissioning, and ending with the expiration of warranty.  Must plan, communicate, coordinate resources, and promote internal and external interfacing from project initiation until closeout.  

The types of projects involved include municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects ranging in scope on small to large scale projects.
